That group of showers along with some thunderstorms that moved into West Alabama earlier was growing a bit stronger.
At 2:45, they extended from near Moundville and Eutaw northward through West Tuscaloosa County and East Pickens to Lamar, Fayette and Walker County.
Heaviest showers, including some thunderstorm activity was over West Tuscaloosa County extending NW to East Lamar.
Lower part opf those storms approaching the Tuscaloosa-Northport area.
Movement was toward the NE.
A Moderate shower was also approaching the Centreville-Brent area in Bibb County.
