DRIER AIR ARRIVES TONIGHT: While we have a few lingering showers across this part of Alabama this afternoon, drier air moves in tonight, and it looks like our weather will be generally dry tomorrow through Saturday. Afternoons will be warmer, with highs in the upper 80s tomorrow, near 90 Friday, and low 90s Saturday. But, mornings will be fairly pleasant, with lows down in the low to mid 60s. Some of the normally cooler spots could see upper 50s at daybreak Friday.
SUNDAY INTO NEXT WEEK: Moisture surges northward late in the weekend, and with an approaching front we will bring back a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, and with the front stalling out just north of Alabama, showers and storms will remain in the forecast on through the first half of next week. Highs will drop back into the mid to upper 80s because of the clouds and showers.
AT THE BEACH: With a front expected to stall out near the coast by late Friday, we can expect some scattered showers and thunderstorms almost every day through the weekend. It will not be an all day rain and high temperatures will back off to the upper 80s even inland.
TROPICAL WEATHER: Disturbed weather continues just east of the Bahamas, but upper air winds are not favorable for tropical storm formation, and rest of the Atlantic basin is quiet.
