An area of thunderstorms now all the way across Extreme South Alabama stretching from the Mississippi to Georgia border. Most right along the Florida line but some have developed northward to between Montgomery and Dothan.

Meanwhile, over on the west side of the state, there is a line of moderate to heavy showers extending all the way from Hamilton in the NW to the Mobile area near the coast.

Everything moving eastward. Some of these heavier showers will reach the Birmingham area by mid-afternoon.

Much of the state continues under a “slight risk” of severe weather by the NWS/Storm Prediction Center for this afternoon and tonight.
