There has been a general thinning of showers and thunderstorms during the last hour or so across Mississippi and Louisiana.
Still some good ones in those areas however. Lots of lightning over NW Louisiana and pouring rain in part of that area,
There was a heavy shower along the Mississippi-Alabama border extending both north and south of the Meridian area. Considerable lightning. Another smaller but moderate shower in West Central Alabama over Extreme NE Greene County and the SW corner of Tuscaloosa County.
Flash Flood Warnings tonight for several counties in NW Mississippi and NE Louisiana and at least one in Middle Tennessee. Some stronger storms were moving eastwatd through Middle Tennessee.
Back in Alabama, we will still see some locally heavy rain even after midnight and in the pre-dawn hours.
Another good chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow (Thursday)
