Cahaba Lillies In August

“Hello weather crew!

I spent a few hours this morning on the Little Cahaba River, just upstream of the low head dam at the Highway 280 crossing. I didn’t realize that the lilies could be found this close to Birmingham, or that they would still be blooming this late in the year. Guess the cooler weather has them confused?”
