Thunderstorms with very heavy rain still clustered over Fayette and the west edge of Walker County. For a time, there was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Fayette County but it was canceled.
Over on the east side of ther state, and not to be overlooked, we find several thunderstorms also dumping heavy rain in these locations:
…..North edge of Talladega County along I-20.
…..Extreme North Clay County
…..Northeast Calhoun County near Jacksonville.
More lightning than you want in all of these storms and they are moving generally eastward.
MISSISSIPPI
Still another family of strong storms spitting out heavy rain and lightning over NE Mississippi south and SW of Tupelo. Headed for NW Alabama.
