Well, it seems now that all hours are rush hours.
Enough of that. At 4 pm, another group of thunderstorms, dumping heavy rain, was approaching the Greater Birmingham area from the west. An east-west line of storms extended all the way across Tuscaloosa County. The east end of the line was entering the west edge of Jefferson County.
These storms will dump locally heavy rain mainly across Southwest and Sough Jefferson County during afternoon drive.
Still other strong storms in East Central Mississippi now approaching West Alabama’s Pickens County.
Meanwhile, in Extreme NW Alabama, the NWS in Huntsville has issued a Special Weather Statement (Significant Weather Alert) for Colbert, Lauderdale, and Lawrence County until 4:45.
