Several lines of showers and thunderstorms across Alabama at mid-afternoon. None are long and very intense like yesterday afternoon..
But some of the storms this afternoon have downpours of rain, lightning and strong gusty winds. The lines are irregular:
1. From South Fayette County through Pickens County to near Meridian.
2. From South Coosa County SW through Wilcox County to Clarke County in SW Alabama.
3. Across SE Alabama from near Columbus, Ga., to Covington County in Extreme South Alabama.
4. Other individual strong storms were over Morgan County in North Alabama and Choctaw County in SW Alabama.
Everything seems to be moving east.
