Brief Update at Mid-Afternoon

Not nearly as many showers and storms this afternoon as there were yesterday. Over the north half of the state, a cluster of storms was over NW Alabama near the junction of Colbert, Franklin and Lawrence Counties.

Very few in Central Alabama.

The most numerous storms were down south, especially from Choctaw County eastward to about Crenshaw and Butler Counties.

Movement was ever so slowly toward the SE.
