Overall, showers and thunderstorms have greatly diminished and greatly thinned out.

Seems like they want to slow down and rest.

Actually, this is not unusual for this time of day.

At 6:45 pm, the main showers and storms were over the NW especially over Winston, Lawrence, Franklin and Colbert County. Moving north and producing moderate to heavy rain.

Over West Central Alabama, some moderate showers over Pickens and Tuscaloosa County but going downhill.

Over East Alabama, showers continue from Clay and Tallapoosa County SE to the Auburn-Opelika area.

Will try to post another update around 7:45 or so to include some key rain amounts arouind the state in the last 24 hours.
