See the story from WSB-TV in Atlanta here… two people have been killed due to flash flooding this morning in the Atlanta metro. In Douglas County, a man was killed when his vehicle as swept off North Helton Road by flood waters. His body was found downstream from the road in a creek. A woman driver was killed when she tried to drive through standing water in Gwinnett County and her vehicle was swept away, according to police.
Just another reminder of the importance of “turn around, don’t drown”.
Let’s all be careful out there.
