Most of northern 1/4 of Alabama free of showers but there was a moderate to heavy shower along the Jackson-Dekalb County line between Scottsboro and Fort Payne in NE Alabama.
Most of the showers and thunderstorms were in a fairly wide zone extending from Lamar, Fayette and Walker County southeastward across West Alabama to South Central Alabama between Montgomery and Monroeville. A few places getting heavy rain:
* Pickens County, near Carrollton
* NE Monroe County, NE of Monroeville
* North Dallas County north of Selma
Everything moving SE. Overall, the storms are diminishing with the loss of daytime heating.
