Big line of storms now from east of Hamilton to Vernon to west of Carrollton to west of Meridian. Severe thunderstorm warnings in several places all along the line.

…Lamar and Pickens (no formal warning now-Lamar County warning canceled)
…Sumter…from storms in Lauderdale County MS.
Severe storms exiting Chilton into Coosa County east of Clanton will produce hail and damaging winds. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for eastern Chilton and Coosa Counties.
Severe thunderstorm warning for Blount, northern St. Clair and Etowah Counties. Storm passing south of Oneonta isn’t developing like I thought it would, but it is closer to the mesolow or trough that is over the Tennessee Valley, and it has a good chance of rotation.
Strong storms now in southern Tuscaloosa, Bibb and northern Perry Counties will affect southern Jefferson and Shelby Counties in the next hour. They could become severe at any time.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect for Limestone, Morgan and Madison Counties in the Tennessee Valley.
Severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for North and Central Alabama. Tornado watch for Northwest Alabama.
