The severe thunderstorm watch has been whittled down to Chambers, Lee, Macon, Randolph and Tallapoosa Counties.
The line of storms now extends from Roanoke to Tuskegee to Red Level to Brewton at this hour.
Showers are showing up on radar over eastern Mississippi. Heavier rain is over western Mississippi ahead of a cold front. This rain will move into the state overnight.
Rain should end during the morning, but it will be a raw day with highs in the the 60s.
