Heavy showers continue over South Colbert and North Franklin County in NW Alabama.

The NWS/Huntsville issued a Special Wearther Statement about that area explaining that the slow ESE movement would permit possibly a rate of one inch of rain per hour which may cause minor lowland flooding.

Some of those showers were edging into West Lawrence County.

Other showers were developing, mainly over jackson and Dekalb County in the NE part of the state, One moderate shower was over the north tip of Blount County in the vicinity of Summit and Brooksville.
