It’s a yucky Saturday across Central Alabama with cloudy skies, some light rain and temperatures in the 40s and lower 50s

Light rain is over parts of West Central Alabama from parts of Walker and Fayette Counties down into Tuscaloosa County.

Over northeast Alabama, some sprinkes and light rain extended from Blount County north to near Huntsville and east into Jackson and Marshall Counties. There will be some pretty soaking light rain in some of the showers. The precipitation is streaming southward.

It’s breezy with north winds averaging 10-20 mph gusting to 25 mph at times. A lake wind advisory is in effect this afternoon.

Skies will clear tonight with some patchy fog in areas protected from the wind.
