The National Weather Service Birmingham had issued a Frost Advisory for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker and Winston Counties. But they are canceling that advisory now. Some high cirrus clouds will help to cut down on the radiational cooling tonight and prevent widespread frost from occurring.
Still, there could be some patchy frost in the protected valleys overnight.
CORRECTION FROM EARLIER – The NWS Huntsville did NOT issue Freeze Warning for tonight for their counties. The warning i referred to earlier was from the 19th. Sorry about that.
