Precipitation was limited to about the north one-third of Alabama this morning. Lots of showers, but really, it was more of a steady rain in most areas.
At 8 o’clock, the heaviest rain extended from North Tuscaloosa and West Jefferson county northward through Lamar, Fayette, and Walker County northward into NW Alabama.
A band of lesser showers (moderate) was across NE Alabama from about Guntersville to Gadsden.
Everything moving toward the NNE.
Warmer air was slowly pushing northward through the state. Example: These current temperatures:
