It is pouring rain over part of West Alabama late this afternoon.
At 5:15, very heavy rain was falling across South Sumter and North Choctaw Counties. This heavy rain was moving NE toward Marengo and Greene County.
Meanwhile, other strong storms were dumping locally heavy rain from Demopolis eastward across Dallas County into Lowndes County.
Up in NW Alabama, there was a strong thunderstorm over SW Winston County, a small one, and it too, was moving NE.
Mind you, that is not all of the thunderboomers in Alabama at this time, just some of the main ones.
