The fairly big family of showers still intact late this morning.
And, they are friendly with each other–not shooting lightning and thunder. Lightning detection equipment shows little or none.
Their location as of 10:40 am:
Jefferson County
East Walker
Blount
Cullman
Marshall
Jackson
West St. Clair
West Etowah
Most of the showers light to moderate. However an area of moderate to briefly heavy showers over SW Walker County and NW Jefferson County.
Everything moving almost due east.
We love this kind of rain. It takes time to soak in.
No Significant Weathewr Alerts needed with this (at least not so far)
