Most of the thunderstorms in Alabama late this afternoon were scattered across the southern third of the state. However, there were some widely spaced ones over West Alabama:
* East Marion County
* Near the city of Fayette
* NE corner of Pickens County and NW corner of Tuscaloosa County
* South Marengo County (the strongest)
There were some stronger thunderstorms over East Central Mississippi crossing into West Alabama’s Sumter and Choctaw County.
