Not many showers or storms over the north half of Alabama late this afternoon.
At 5:15 pm, a heavy shower was moving slowly NNW west of Tuscaloosa passing between Northport and Coker. Another moderate to heavy shower was along the Winston-Marion County line in NW Alabama.
Still another one in the hearft of Alabama west of Clanton, in Chilton County.
The better shower/thunderstorm coverage was further south and SE from Tallapoosa County southward. Much of Central Tallapoosa County was getting a downpour. Quite a few showers/storms from Barbour County southward to the Dothan area also.
