An outflow boundry moving NW has crossed from Shelby County into South Jefferson County.
It has triggered a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm in the Greater Birmingham area. Heat island effect may be helping some too, although it has not been really hot today.
Main one was over North Shelby County near Westover. Moving NW will cross into Jefferson County east of Mountain Brook. This one is easily seen from NE Trussville.
Another shower formed along I-65 between Birmingham and Gardendale.
Still another new shower over East Walker County near Dora.
Everything headed toward the NW
