Showers and thunderstorms were redeveloping late tonight over the eastern part of the Birmingham Metro area. Specifically from East Jefferson eastward into St. Clair County. A thunderstorm was in progress in NE Trussville around 10:45 pm.
However, by far, the heaviest rain was over the SE part of Winston County and South Cullman County. It was raining heavily over Smith Lake.
All of this was moving ESE. Some heavy rain will spread across NE Walker County.
