Opposite corners of Alabama have some thunderstorms late this afternoon.
The better coverage has been over extreme SW Alabama, especially Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
Up on the opposite corner of the state (the NE part), there was a strong storm in North Madison County for a while. At 4:30, there was a fairly strong storm along the Etowah-Cherokee County line between Gadsden and Centre. It was moving west and will travel across North Etowah County and SW DeKalb County, mainly between Gadsden and Ft. Payne. It was producing locally heavy rain.
