You may not have seen the comment I put on the blog this morning. Salt
Lake City hit a record low for the date of 4 degrees last night. The
valley didn’t get much snow until this morning when a good lake effect
band got going. The Salt Lake valley got up to 8″ of fluff. Up in
Layton, we didn’t get much…maybe 2″. They missed it, but I guess it
goes to show that snow forecasting is difficult, even in an area like
this. They didn’t miss it in the mountains, though. Alta received 38″
since Monday morning.

The high at our house today was 23, and they are forecasting a low of 0
to 5 above tonight.
