It has pushed deep into Central Alabama, well south of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

Actually, the wind is from the north on both sides of the front so it is a bit difficult to place it exactly. Should be near Montgomery.

At 3 pm, it was a cold 37 degrees in Huntsville, Decatur and Cullman. North winds were gusting over 25 mph and the wind chill was about 27.

It was 43 in Birmingham at 3 pm and 57 in Montgomery. The Montgomery temperature will be on the way down shortly.

This is a very cold and extremely dry airmass. We project the dew point in Central Alabama to persist near 3 above zero much of tomorrow!
