Our radar continues to show bands of rain, freezing rain, and some sleet moving across the northern half of Alabama. Bridge icing remains possible through the morning hours as far south of I-20, and in isolated spots south of I-20. Some late reports:

A weather report from the Cullman Blount County Line. We’re at “Black Bottom Creek” near I-65 exit 291, just of AL Hwy 91. It is 28.8 degrees, falling from 29.2 just 20 minutes ago. Freezing rain is falling. Outside surfaces such as the tops of vehicles and roofs have a film of ice, though the ground is not yet frozen.
