NOTES…
Areas north of a line from Sulligent to Guin to Brilliant will receive the worst part of this storm.
Marion County EMA reports lots of transformers popping from the strong winds in Shottsville.
These storms may produce winds in excess of 80 mph, which can cause severe damage.
LATE REPORTS:
Tornado damage reported from Concordia Parish in Louisiana according to the NWS Jackson.
OTHER WATCHES
A tornado watch remains in effect until for much of the northwestern half of Alabama until 3 a.m. CST.
A wind advisory is in effect for sustained winds over 45 mph at times tonight even where no storms are involved.
