A line of thunderstorms is moving NE this morning over eastern CUllman, western Bount, Jefferson into eastern Shelby County. It is associated with a northeastwar moving warm front.
The storms are not severe, but they do have lightning and some brief heavy rain.
The strongest storm in the state is just west of Muscle Shoals. It could become severe.
Two counties in Tennessee are under severe thunderstorm warnings. Ralls County in NE Missouri is under Tornado Warnings.
A severe thunderstorm watch continues until 8 a.m. for Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin Counties in NW Alabama.
Much of Alabama is included in a High Risk Outlook for severe weather for later today.
