We continue to be most concerned about West Alabama where the tornado parameters are really strong. The Tuscaloosa area will evetually contend with these storms, and eventually Birmingham.

Tornado watches cover all 67 counties of Alabama…western half until 6 p.m….eastern half until 8 p.m. Both are PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) tornado watches.
Virtually the entire state in under a HIGH RISK outlook for severe weather except for the northeast corner of the state, which is under a MODERATE RISK…so not much better.
