Tornado warning coming for Lamar County…
Storm near Vernon becoming very severe…will move east or northeast…will threaten Fayette County…but could may eventually threaten Winfield and Glen Allen areas.
Tornado warning for Pickens County until 3 p.m.
This dangerous storm is just south of Cochrane…will pass just south of Aliceville….crossing Alabama 14…people in these areas need to be off roads.
Tornado warning for Greene and Sumter Counties until 245 p.m.
The storm in Pickens is turning a bit right and tracking along the Greene County line. Persons in northern Greene County should remain very alert and exceute their tornado safety plans. Watching storm near DeKalb MS…will pass into these counties later.

SEVERE WEATHER THREAT CONTINUES
Tornado watches cover all 67 counties of Alabama…western half until 6 p.m….eastern half until 8 p.m. Both are PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) tornado watches.
Virtually the entire state in under a HIGH RISK outlook for severe weather except for the northeast corner of the state, which is under a MODERATE RISK…so not much better.
