Now mostly NE of the city along the Blount-St. Clair county line. Still moving toward the NNE
At 9:25 am, there were other showers scattered across the region generally from Cullman County southward. They were more numerous, but not heavy, over SW Alabama from about Demopolis and Marengo County southward.
By far the heaviest rain was offshore south of the Biloxi-Gulfport-Ocean Springs-Mobile-Gulf Shores-Pensacola area.
The nearest lightning was over the North Gulf of Mexico about 100 miles south of Mobile.
