Our weather system is fizzling…

The area of rain that moved into Alabama from Mississippi has been slowly diminishing. The main area now is across Marengo, Wilcox and Hale Counties.

There is a significant shower north of Pell City in St. Clair County.

Other showers are over Northeast Alabama over Jackson and DeKalb Counties, extending down into Blount and Marshall Counties.

The front is still well back to the west. Additional showers and storms could form ahead of the front tomorrow morning.

The threat for severe weather is gone for the overnight and doesn’t look likely for tomorrow either.
