Rain and thunderstorms continue across much of the southern half of Central Alabama this afternoon.
A huge mass of moderate rain continues across South Central Alabama across Marengo, Dallas and Wilcox Counties.
Further north, showers and storms are moving across Bibb and Chilton Counties and into southwestern Shelby County north and west of Montevallo.
On the eastern side of the state, showers and storms are lined up along I-20 from Pell City and Riverside to Anniston and Oxford. This activity is pushing north, while most of the other activity is moving northeast.
Folks in Shelby, Talladega, extreme SE St. Clair, Calhoun and Cleburne Counties and points south will continue getting wet over the next hour or so.
Tuscaloosa and Jefferson County will remain dry for the time being.
A few light showers were over Winston and Lawrence Counties.
Drier air should push the activity out of Central Alabama later this evening.
Tomorrow will be warm and humid with a few storms developing durign the afternoon. Storms will be a little more numerous Tuesday and will become likely Tuesday night as a cold front pushes toward the state.
Frost will not be out of the question late in the week.
