Many sections of Alabama received very beneficial rain Sunday while other communities were severely short-changed. Among the places that received very little was the Greater Birmingham area. Areas as nearby as Jasper and NE Tuscaloosa County received over an inch. In NE Alabama, Crossville got almost 1.50 inches. Based on radar, part of SE Alabama received over six inches. Mobile is getting off to a good start for April. They were drenched with 4.30 inches.
