That long line of thunderstorms that stretches all the way across Alabama continues to roll southward.
At 3:30 am, it extended from near Livingston over on the west side of the state, eastward to near Greensboro, Marion, Prattville, Wetumpka and Lafayette.
Still lots of lightning and locally heavy rain but the storms were strong but not severe. A few trees were blown down near Prattville at 3:24 am but winds were estimated at around 45 mph.
A Significant Weather Alert was in effect for Lowdnes, Montgomery and Macon County until 4:30 am. There has been a lot of those in the last several hours. They are short of a warning.
At 3:30 there were no warnings. The last warning expired around 1 am in Walker County. There was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for the Meridian area in East Mississippi.
Rain lingers well northward behind the leading edge.
