Hope y’all are doing well! Just thought I’d send these pictures of more April snow (we’ve accumulated 13 inches of snow so far this month). Most of Johnson County accumulated 4-8 inches Sunday afternoon, along with wind gusts close to 60 MPH.
My trip back from Mtn. City to East Tennessee State University last night was quite interesting due to all of the wind and snow, as there were several downed trees. While we get lots of wind here in the mountains of East TN, the winds we experienced last night were as strong as I’ve seen since the remnants of Opal rolled through here back in Oct. of 1995.
