Not even any light showers.
Just before 5 PM, there was a line of intense thunderstorms in West Mississippi.
At least two Severe Thunderstorm Warnings with that line, including the Greenwood area.
A Tornado Watch for much of Central and West Mississippi until 9 o’clock tonight. A Tornado Watch has also been posted in Arkansas.
The line of thunderstorms in West Mississippi moving slowly east. But the individual thunderstorms were moving more north than east. Translation: The line of storms will take its time getting to Alabama.

Storms for Central Alabama will not get here until late tonight and continue into much of Thursday morning. Normally, that is a better time to have them, atmosphere more stable, etc.
