A few showers were moving generally northward over West Alabama at 7:40 this evening. They were mainly over Marion County and SW Tuscaloosa County.
Not real heavy.
To the west, a north-south line of thunderstorms was over East Mississippi from near Tupelo south to Meridian and then across SE Mississippi. This line of storms formed out ahead of the other line of storms which was at one time intense over West Mississippi.i
No warnings currently in effect in Mississippi. The last warning for Neshoba County in East Central Mississippi expired at 6:45 PM. The Tornado Watch that was in effect in Mississippi until 9 PM is also no longer in effect.
Still another line of storms from near Little Rock to Shreveport. A number of Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have been issued by the NWS in Shreveport and Little Rock along that line.
Here in Alabama, we are still outlooked for a slight risk mof severe weather tonight and Thursday.
