They are not numerous, but several strong to severe thunderstorms continue in progress over extreme NW Alabama.
The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Colbert and Lawrence Counties until 2:45.
The NWS-Birmingham has posted a Significant Weather Alert for Marion County until 2:45. The thunderstorms are moving very little, giving them the chance to dump some heavy rain on some small areas, but not everybody is getting rain.
Elsewhere around Alabama, no action at present. Over in extreme North Mississippi, showers and storms are fairly numerous, but also moving slowly.
