Late tonight, a line of showers and thunderstorms extended all the way from New York State to West Tennessee, Extreme NW Alabama and into Mississippi.
Here in Alabama, if you are in Lauderdale, Colbert. Marion, Lamar and Sumter County, you are getting some moderate to heavy showers and you should see lightning.
All of this is along and ahead of a cold front that extended from Indianapolis to Little Rock to NE Texas.
However, because of the late hour, the electrical activity continues to decrease.
The line of showers/thunderstorms was moving slowly east while the individual thunderstorms were moving NE.
The NWS/SPC has a slight risk of severe weather for the remainder of tonight from West Tennessee NE into New York State and Massachusetts.
Earlier, there were reports of strong winds and some hail over West Mississippi and other areas.
