A line of showers continues moving eastward slowly across NW and parts of West Central Alabama at the midnight hour.
It is an irregular line and extends generally from Decatur to Fayette and into Pickens County.
Lightning has decreased. It was mostly moderate showers although a few were briefly heavy. One shower was increasing as it approached Greensboro.
Further north, there was considerably more lightning across Middle Tennessee.
Expect continued slow eastward movement across North and Central Alabama for the remainder of the night.
Why am I up so late?
I don’t know. I watched every minute of the political debate from Columbia tonight. I enjoy those. Also a short midnight walk with my dog.
We do not expect severe weather with this system in Alabama.
Headed to bed. Will automatically wake up at 5. Fresh coffee will be calling.
