A cold front has pushed into NW Mississippi and will arrive in Central Alabama in a few hours. As it gets here, some more showers and possible thunderstorms will be with the front or out ahead.
However, a nice irregular line of showers was still in progress at 8:25 this morning. The line extended generally from Sumter County in West Alabama, northeastward to near Eutaw, Moundville, SE Tuscaloosa County, to Birmingham, Gadsden and Fort Payne.
The heaviest showers were over Sumter and Greene County in West Alabama and Dekalb County in NE Alabama.
