Several heavy showers were west and north of the Birmingham area late this afternoon.
Just before 5 pm, they were located:
* Between Fultondale and Warrior, crossing I-65 and U.S. 31
* Several over West Jefferson County approaching the Walker County line
* Southwest of Oneonta in Blounty County.
All were moving NW
Some other heavy showers were over western Jackson County in Extreme NE Alabama about ready yo move into East Madison County.
