Lots of activities in the Birmingham metro this afternoon, and the good news is that the weather is holding out for the time being.
So far almost no showers in the Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Anniston/Gadsden area. Showers and storms could develop as temperatures edge up a few more degrees. Showers and storms will move into western Alabama later this evening from Mississippi and could be severe. We will monitor them.
But if you are planning on heading to the Crawfish Boil or other activities, go enjoy. Just keep an eye to the sky and the radar.
