Compared to Tennessee and other areas, the weather across Alabama has been relatively quiet today. That will change.
A new thunderstorm has formed over east Mississippi. At 6 pm, it was passing NW of Columbus and moving quickly NE toward Marion County in NW Alabama. So far no formal warning.
The Storm Prediction Center is considering a new Tornado Watch for a good part of North and West Alabama.
