Very heavy rain is about to enter NWS Alabama’s Laudedale, Colbert and Franklin Counties and the NWS Huntsville has proactively posted a flash flood warning.
Columbus MS just recorded a wind gust to 47 mph.
To the south, the NWS Birmingham has issued a significant weather alert for Sumter County for the storm near Meridian. It still has a warning in Mississippi, but seems to have weakened a bit.
