6:00 p.m.: storm is getting close to the Columbus radar site. Hard to say where the possible tornado might be. Might be as far north as West Point, which might carry it more toward Caledonia and Vernon. We will be watching.
Starkville Under the Gun…Again…and heads up Lamar County…
Possible tornado near Starkville…will pass eear or just south of West Point…and somewhere between Columbus MS and the AFB.
Folks in Lamar County in the Millport and Kennedy areas, perhaps as far south of Ethlesville in Pickens County need to be heading to be ready to head to safe shelter. Go ahead and get out of mobile homes for safer structures.
