Showers moving north northeast over West Alabama are weakening at this hour.
One spunky little thundershower is in the Coaling/Brookwood area of eastern Tuscaloosa County. It will move up into western Jefferson county but stay west of Bessemer and Hueytown, affecting places like Mud Creek, Bull City, Lock 17 Road and areas near or just west of Oak Grove. It mayhold together for awhile, or more likely slowly weaken.
Other showers and storms will likely form later tonight, especially over Northwest Alabama.
Rain chances will increase on Sunday from the north and northwest as a front droops southward over Alabama.
